Bicycles can be a real pain even when you have a large garage. They can quickly take up a majority of your space if you have more than a couple bikes. If you are married and have 3 children you could possibly end up with 5 bikes in a garage that may only be meant for 2.5 cars. That is if your lucky enough to have not used the room already. One of the nice things about storage is you can use hooks to get those bikes out of the way. During the winter months you can hang them from the ceiling where they will be out of the way. As children get older you can also keep the bikes stored there as they begin to lose interest in riding their bikes.
